The Wallpaperlab is a competition resulting from a partnership between wallpaper professionals, the Museum of Decorative Arts and the publisher Domestic. For this fourth edition, 5 creators have worked on innovative wallpaper projects that we invite you to discover in pictures and at the Museum of Decorative Arts from January 20 to May 6, 2012.

Helmo's project

A3P ### Helmo brings together two graphic designers: Thomas Couderc and Clément Vauchez who have imagined a wallpaper that revolves around a repetitive pattern without bearing the mark. Thus, everything is played out in the fittings of the wallpaper which become a free interpretation of the experience.

Akroe's project

A3P ### Painter and graphic artist, Akroe presents "Kristalltag". It is a wallpaper that highlights the construction by partial deconstruction. The paper is then made up of two layers in order to personalize its wall.

The Big Game project

A3P ### Big Game is a Belgian-French-Swiss trio which offers the "Isola" wallpaper which incorporates the codes of cartography with seabed and islands as ornamentation. The wall then becomes a gigantic ocean.

Leslie David's project

A3P ### Graphic designer and illustrator, Leslie David revisits the graphics of palm trees to create complex geometries inspired by the 1950s. She was inspired by the 19th century winter gardens which contained palm trees to create an offbeat universe.
