Ideally located rue des Abbesses, a stone's throw from the Sacré Coeur and the Butte Montmartre, the Basss hotel reveals itself as a concentrate of Scandinavian and French design from the 20th century. Urban, chic and family friendly, this establishment offers a different vision of the stay, that of Happy Culture Collection, which brings together some forty hotels in France, driven by the same desire: to offer more than rooms by transforming travel into successions of unforgettable moments. Customers become hosts and the place a second home. Here, coffee is available throughout the day and the "Happy Time", a free service for eating American pastries and hot drinks in the afternoon, is shared with the other hotels in the group (19 in Paris). invites you to discover in images the Basss hotel, in which graphics and industrial furniture happily coexist.

The industrial design spirit

Hôtel Basss As soon as you enter the Hôtel Basss, the tone is set: the industrial design of the 20th century inhabits the space. Jean Prouvé's standard chairs mix colors to create relief and the legendary six-armed ceiling lamp by Serge Mouille levitates above the tables. We like the mix of materials such as wood, stone on the wall, rough floors, metal and the fabrics of the benches, available in pretty shades of blue and gray, both warm and structuring.

An elegant and designed double room

Hôtel Basss The standard double rooms are like the hotel: decorated in a retro but graphic spirit, they are timeless and comfortable. We like the colors chosen for the textiles, mixing mouse gray with slightly smoky blue, which bring a real feeling of calm. The 11m² room offers an office space that fits perfectly into the decor. * Standard double room: from € 63 *

The superior plays the mixture of genres

Hôtel Basss The superior room, like the standard in a 15m² version, invites the same soft tones in the decoration. In terms of materials, the headboard is subtly worked with a mixture of raw chipboard and stained leather. We appreciate the comfort of the Queen Size bed and the presence of an office space, with its Prouvé chair of course! * Superior double room: from 78 € *

Retro minimalism in the shower room

Hôtel Basss The bathroom plays on the retro and minimalist side. We like the black and white, graphic tiles, and the pedestal ceramic sink, which blend perfectly with each other. As for the finishes, it is a favorite for the wall lamps with a very elegant design.

A chewable desk

Hôtel Basss We find in each room an office area equipped with its standard chair (and this is certainly our favorite detail of the hotel!). Small but decorative, it is a continuation of the wall with its tone-on-tone shade. The agglomerate / painted wood mixture is really successful and the wall hanging, bold and dynamic, frees up floor space to preserve the perspectives. A nice achievement.

Family friendly

Hôtel Basss Families will be won over by the Hôtel Basss since the establishment offers triple or quadruple rooms of 21m². This large space is open to a lounge area which accommodates two beds in the evening. As in the other bedrooms, an office space and a retro bathroom complete the services. * Family room from 118 € *

An artistic atmosphere that inspires

Hôtel Basss In the hotel lobby, you like to read a book or relax. A veritable summary of 20th century design, this room is decorated with armchairs, tables and other chosen decorative elements which breathe a special soul into the place. We really like the glass roof, installed along the corridor, which brings an air of artist's studio. Enough to unleash his creativity in the heart of this district that art has never stopped living in.

Foodies are welcome at the Basss Hotel

Hôtel Basss In an arty, chic and urban setting, enjoy a rich breakfast in black and white dishes with Scandinavian inspirations. The hotel also provides you with a Nespresso machine and invites you, every afternoon, to enjoy a relaxing break with sweets. A great way to reinvent hotel codes by adding a hint of guest house.

Oasis of serenity in the heart of Paris

Hôtel Basss Small urban oasis, the hotel terrace is ideal for resting from an exhausting Parisian day. We love the place, cozy, simple and quiet. A rare commodity in the capital. More info on and
